Seth Walks Ireland 2004
Wicklow National Park a real 'find' 08 September 2004
During the Seth Walks trip to the Repulic of Ireland we discovered the Wicklow Mountains National Park in planning one of our day's for walking, and this will surely be a repeated venue as it lends itself beautifully to events such as ours.
More than that, it is a gorgeous location, and as such is somewhere we will wish to take many people to, and show you its lush parks, spectacular scenery and easy-to-access mountains.
The advantage of a specific Centre for walking and tourism over simply going out into some nice countryside proved itself as we found ourselves at a base with great facilities, a wonderful vibe, refreshments, a lake beach, and the provision of maps for walking, and in places even boards in the mountains to aid walking.
Be it for a family event, or for a group of adults, Wicklow will be ideal. It is also nice when walking to be in a place where so many other people have chosen to go.
We also have the added connection that one of our friends who is local to Dublin, Sue Murphy, is keen to get involved more and more and so we can promote Wicklow National Park as a focal point for Seth Walks own blend of walking and 'life talk'.
