There was something seemingly historic about this trip. It had a feel about it of happiness and harmony that would stay with us through all the Seth Walks events.

We knew there would be many wondrous events and experiences and friendships and locations to come, and the 'vibe' for this weekend absolutely foretold of that. More...

Dublin, Ireland August/September 2004 diary

Click to view The GalleryHaving never been to Ireland before, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was gorgeous! We stayed at a camp site in Rush right next to the beach, just north of Dublin, and it was a treasure, a really peaceful place, almost continental.

Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains National Park proved to be the find of the week. We went to Glendalough on the Sunday and had a gorgeous walk up from there. Although we had brilliant sunshine, we had a few short bouts of rain, which resulted in a number of beautiful rainbows, captured for the gallery! The walk at the top of the hill was made difficult by the wind, but that didn't spoil the views as we came back down on part of the Wicklow Way and ended with an evening dinner in a nice pub in Laragh. Hadfield and Edale, The Peak District, September 2004

Click to view The GalleryWe arrived about 8 o'clock on the Friday night at an Inn in Birch Vale where we spent the evening and that night.

In the morning, we drove to Hadfield, which is the town where they film the tv series 'The League of Gentlemen'. We spent a couple of hours being complete tourists, taking photos of the town. From there we set off for a walk early afternoon which took us along part of the Trans Pennine Way in the Longdendale Valley, and then joined the Pennine Way at Crowden. More...
